Senegal Launches Phase 2 of the Rural Drinking Water Supply Project

Senegal has launched Phase 2 of its rural drinking water supply project, aiming to improve access to safe water for over two million people. The program includes 85 boreholes, 89 water towers, 5 treatment units, 1,450 km of networks, and thousands of new connections and facilities to strengthen rural water services.

Implemented over 30 months with an investment of USD 99.98 million, the project will enhance sustainability and reduce inequalities in access to drinking water across rural communities.
